It's only the third freaking round! So why does it feel like we've been playing this game for months now? Last week especially, was just beyond exhausting.
The pack mentality in this game is really starting to annoy the heck out of me too. From people trying to interfere in evictions outside of their own houses, to the collective groans heard around the world when Heaven and Ryan once again saved themselves from the block, I'm just over it.
I know logically too that none of this should really bother me. After all, players like Heaven, Ryan and Sofia being such huge targets really only serves to benefit me and my position here. I think that what it all comes down to is that I really just adore Ryan. Of course, my soft spot for him could be clouding my judgment on some things, but I'm legitimately frustrated. For the second season now, nobody is giving him a chance. He deserves a chance! Ryan is honestly a wonderful person. He's charming, intelligent and a straight-shooter, and I for one genuinely want to work with him in this game. He's a beast at comps, sure, but he's not some unstoppable machine. I know from experience that he can be beaten, I've done it myself, not once but twice.
There are so many different ways to measure strength in the Big Brother Rise & Fall House anyway. I for one am not intimidated by working with strong players. I am a strong player. If all of the big names in this series systematically take one another out, then there's gonna be a pretty lackluster group of housemates that make it to the endgame. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for playing intelligently and making moves at the correct times, but I'm not gonna sit here and sip this 'us against them, lynch mob' Kool-Aid that so many other people are currently chugging down. Especially when I prefer many of the so called targets to the people that are targeting them.
