Come on in, housemates! Welcome to the twelfth Power of Veto competition of the season! Tonight's competition is new to the series; it's called "OTEV"!
It wouldn't be right to #takeover and not host a competition I love!
In this competition, the rules will be similar to those of the actual television show, however with slight differences. A small poem will be posted and it will be your job to decipher who the rhyme is about. Once you've figured out who it is, you'll have to unlock a board with the housemate's first and last name [all lowercase letters, no spaces] and search a given thread in an attempt to find the housemate's hidden headshot. Once you've found the headshot, you'll have to run back to a designated thread to post said headshot as quick as you can. The last housemate to arrive in each round will be eliminated from the competition. The competition will continue until there is only one person remaining, naming them the winner of the Power of Veto.
I believe it'd be more enjoyable to have this done in real time. In the live format, there will be different colored headshots, so that people can't copy and paste a headshot if someone posts before them. This way, you'll be returning with the same headshot, but you'll each have a unique color to prove that you've done the work and looked yourself. If you find a color but return to the thread to see that somebody already posted a headshot of the same color, you'll have to run back and find another. This competition is all about speed.
Once the players are picked, I ask that each of you PM me on the board with your availability for tomorrow, August 19th, 2015 to see if a live competition is a possibility. If it is, it will be done quicker. This competition is able to be hosted individually if we can't get it in real time, but I think that would kill a majority of the potential fun involved. So, let's try and make this live, okay?
