I sort of feel like Zach might have taken the easy route on my question by saying F6-F4, but...I can't really be bugged or upset by it since I didn't specify.
Also, I get and appreciate his other answer when it came to Heaven, but I wasn't so much saying I didn't understand Heaven being important to him and someone he viewed as being close to, as much as I was saying that I thought that that being the case was detrimental to him. At least since in my opinion having 2 of the Trio around still should've been a bit of a buffer for him.
OH! Well thank you! Nah that's just because I'm amazing, nothing to do with journalism, per se.
Ya know, I was leaning towards Zach in the beginning, but Nick has impressed me with his opening statement/answers. I knew like next to nothing about the game and what was going on lol, so it's interesting seeing their responses to everything else that I missed. I'm waiting for Nick to reply back to the questions he hasn't gotten to, yet. But hay, I'm digging this F2. Both parties have a good shot to win this, and they're a lot better than Ika/Dan lol
EDIT: Zach was incredibly lucky this game I feel. The trio got ejected the round he was going to target one of them, so instead of two trio members going after him, all three got ejected. After that, he had the experience of playing these games in his back pocket, and used it to get to the end forcefully. There's nothing wrong with that at all, you can't knock someone for being too good at competitions, but I do think if the trio was actually a trio and they were real and stayed in the game, I doubt he would be here right now. He played a really good game, but luck factored into his plan a lot more than Nick's did. (Unless i'm 100% wrong, then by all means tell me off)
I think luck has a factor in all of our games. I really hate that the trio is so heavily present in this game and in the final speeches. Had the trio been the trio this would have been an entirely different game. Zach adapted his strategy accordingly, I don't like that the fact that people are saying if he didn't win a competition he wouldn't be here. That may be true but for some of us, that's exactly why we are here is because we couldn't win those competitions when we needed them. Zach had a really good social game and crediting that he is only here because he won his way to the end is a garbage reason I'm my opinion.
I'm not sure if you're referring to me or not with that statement Boog, but if you are, I just want to clear it up and say that I was only trying to say that for example, winning POV being the only way you survive a round is different than being able to survive it with or without. With my Zach question, I sort of wanted to see him show "situational awareness" by like identifying who would/wouldn't be most able and likely to get him out had he been vulnerable.
it's not like Zach never talked his way out of a situation. He didn't get nominated when I was HOH when Heather left. It wasn't by accident that he didn't go up, he talked to me, made deals with me and I took the chance on him and agreed to them. Had Nick made the same deal I would have not accepted it because I felt that Zach could keep up his side of the deal and at the time, he did. In the case when Heather did leave a big reason she left is because the trio was keeping her. It wasn't a very hard sell that late in the game because everyone was against them. I'm not saying Nick talking him out of evictions wasn't impressive, I just feel people are dismissing the fact that Zach was able to avoid that position when he wasn't in his power.
All this talk though does make me wonder how things would've been if I had actually stepped back and evicted Nick instead of evicting Heather. Whether it would've tied or whether someone else would've changed their vote too, I'm not entirely sure.
Okay I love Zach but I take issue with him responding to Nick's answers, not because I wouldn't want to clarify incorrect assessments myself though, quite the contrary rather. In S8's PW Lounge he specifically criticized me for responding to some of Nicole's (incorrect) claims about what was going on at certain stages of the game. Pot meet kettle much?
